In short: Mr. Argo uses personal information to answer inquiries, provide authorized services, prevent fraud and maintain required records. We do not sell personal data submitted to us or use it for targeted advertising. Enter an SSN or ITIN only in the masked, encrypted fields specifically labeled for it. Never send one through an ordinary field, email or text, and never enter payment-card information anywhere except Stripe's hosted checkout.
1. Who we are and scope
Mr. Argo is the business brand that operates mrargo.com and provides business formation, coaching and advisory services. This Privacy Notice explains how Mr. Argo collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information through this website, direct communications and related service workflows. Separate websites and providers linked from this site apply their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
Contact and communication information
When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred language, service interest, message, company information, appointment details and referral or campaign information.
LLC intake, authorization and service records
The pre-payment LLC intake collects contact details; one required proposed company name and an optional second name; principal and mailing addresses; county; business activity and expected start date; expected employee count; management structure; owner and manager names, addresses and ownership percentages; registered-agent selection; the selected EIN responsible party; prior-EIN status; typed electronic signature; authorization and electronic-consent selections; date and time; agreement revision; a non-sensitive reference number; and whether the responsible party has an SSN or ITIN. When the responsible party has one, the same Filing section provides separately isolated, masked fields for the actual number. Those sensitive fields have no ordinary form name and are excluded from the Web3Forms submission.
Payment and transaction information
Payments are completed on a Stripe-hosted page. Mr. Argo receives transaction details such as payment status, amount, customer contact information and a reference number. Payment-card information is entered directly with Stripe and is handled by Stripe under its own privacy notice; Mr. Argo does not receive the full card number from the hosted checkout.
Sensitive EIN intake information
Before payment, the Filing section may collect the responsible party's SSN or ITIN when it is needed for the EIN application. The input is masked by default, can be temporarily revealed by the client, and is encrypted in the browser before transmission to Mr. Argo's self-hosted endpoint. The ordinary intake sends Web3Forms only a non-sensitive retrieval token and receipt, not the actual number. Stripe never receives the number. Mr. Argo may continue to use a separate encrypted, single-use link for a correction or an approved follow-up, but the standard flow does not require another sensitive-data screen after payment.
Technical and usage information
Our hosting, security and embedded-service providers may receive IP address, browser or device type, requested page, referring page, date and time, cookie or similar identifiers, and security-event information. Google may receive request and device information when externally hosted fonts load. We do not currently use a first-party advertising profile to track visitors across unrelated websites.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, schedule appointments and communicate about requested services.
- Prepare, perform and document authorized formation, coaching or advisory work.
- Process payments, reconcile transactions and provide receipts or invoices.
- Verify authorizations and electronic signatures and maintain service records.
- Protect clients, the website and our business against spam, fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, government-filing and recordkeeping obligations.
- Improve website reliability, accessibility and service operations.
4. Sources of information
We collect information directly from you, from a person authorized to act for a proposed or existing business, automatically through the website and its providers, and from payment, booking or communication providers you choose to use. We may also receive public business-record information from government sources when performing authorized work.
5. When and with whom we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, subject to provider contracts and applicable law. Categories of recipients include:
- Hostinger for website hosting, delivery, logs and security.
- Web3Forms for processing and forwarding contact and ordinary LLC authorization submissions; it is not sent the actual SSN or ITIN.
- hCaptcha for spam and abuse prevention on forms where it appears.
- Stripe for hosted payments, invoicing, fraud prevention and transaction records.
- Setmore when you use online booking.
- Google when externally hosted fonts are requested.
- Government agencies, professional advisers or other parties needed to complete work you authorized, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or respond to legal process.
- A successor or adviser involved in a proposed or completed business reorganization, financing, sale or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
6. How the sensitive EIN intake works
The sensitive fields use Mr. Argo's public encryption key in the client's browser. The browser creates a new encryption key, encrypts the package before transmission and sends only ciphertext to the self-hosted Hostinger endpoint. The server stores the encrypted package, and readable information can be recovered only with the protected Mr. Argo office key. The number is not placed in Web3Forms, Stripe, analytics, URLs or browser storage. To limit automated abuse, the endpoint temporarily counts submissions using a keyed hash derived from the request IP address; the application does not store the raw IP in that rate-limit record or log the SSN or ITIN. Infrastructure providers may maintain security or access logs under their own policies.
7. Cookies and third-party technology
Mr. Argo does not currently use personal information submitted to us for targeted advertising. Hosting, hCaptcha, Stripe, Setmore and Google may use cookies or similar technologies for security, functionality, preferences, fraud prevention and their own legally permitted purposes. You can control many cookies through your browser, but blocking them may prevent booking, spam protection or payment functions from working.
8. Sale, targeted advertising and profiling
We do not sell personal data submitted to us. We do not process it for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If these practices change, we will update this notice and provide any choices required by law before applying the change.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, the authorized service, transaction reconciliation, security, dispute resolution and legitimate legal, tax, accounting or government-filing records. Retention periods vary with the record and applicable obligation. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or deidentify it.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and workflow, including hosted payment pages and client-side encryption for the sensitive EIN intake. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe information was submitted to the wrong channel or an account or link was compromised, contact us promptly.
11. Your privacy rights and appeals
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers the request, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your information, access it, correct inaccuracies, delete information you provided or that we obtained about you, receive a portable copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Send requests to support@mrargo.com with the subject Privacy Request and describe the request and the information or service involved. To protect information, we may verify your identity and authority. Where the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, we generally respond within 45 days, subject to a legally permitted extension.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with the subject Privacy Appeal. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain how to submit a complaint to the appropriate regulator. Texas residents may also review the Texas Attorney General's consumer privacy information.
12. Children
Mr. Argo's business services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. External sites
Links to government sources, booking, payment, social media or other websites are provided for convenience. Their privacy and security practices are controlled by their own notices, not this one.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when practices, services, providers or laws change. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel before they apply when required by law.
